Yep, I saw it run about 15yrs ago in the san-fran bay,,was it a russian helicopter engine???

The reason I asked that, is that I thought it was the Skater he used on the record setting Mississippi Run.

That is exactly what they are. I saw the boat 2 years ago at the shop and asked the same question. Howard said that they are used for low speed maneuvering around the docks/marina. If I remember correctly they were yamahas. Very nice guy, and he even let me climb around on it to take a closer look. He is very proud of that boat, and rightfully so.

The 4th of July is a big event on the Delta. Thousands of boats anchor out to watch the firework show set off over the water. Just before sunset, Arneson runs the boat around shooting flames off.
