Family & Performance Boating Mag?...
 

Just re-started a subscription to these folks again despite my last subscription showing me only 3 issues. I know they had some start up problems but are they getting better at delivering? I like their format and everday boater information/articles. I hope they come thru this time...

I've had similar issues with this mag.. spoke with Debbi re -subscribed and paid over the phone.. I 'm happy to say I am getting the magizine...but now there sending invoices thru the mail!!!!!:rolleyes: :mad: ;)

So far I got the invoice that said you should've gotten the first issue already, but haven't and sent in the $$ anyway??? So we'll see...:confused:

I had simular problems with their delivery. I could get the magazine at the local newsstand before I received my issues. I think if I purchase any more issues it will be at the newsstand.:(

I just started a subscription with them in December, recieved two (2) issues so far.....everything seems OK, but I was concerned with all the trouble other people on the board were having.

The only bad side - the issues show up on the newstands almost a week before I receive them in the mail.

*****, *****, *****, :D You guys don't know how lucky you are. I have never been able to find FPB and any newstand around here. At least you can get it. :cool:

Good luck,been thru it before,great mag,lousy distibution. Unbelievable. Don't think they are trying to cheat anybody,but I'm thru checking my mailbox.Powerboat and Hotboat come regularly,the other one doesnot.

Same experiance had a subscription last year got three issues than nothing. Now I've gotten two invoices, saying I should have received my first issue and I owe them $19.99. I liked the magazine but they need to work on their distribution. I'll try to find it at the book store.

If it wasn't for the fact I can't find them anymore around here on the stand, I wouldn't have sent off the $19.99 to renew. I'm taking the gamble of aggravation because I do like their magazine....

Warren, the editor is a OSO member.. mabe he will see this thread and help us out??.....WARREN YOU OUT THERE?
