No brainer dude, don't be such a hater...

Probably would be cheaper to fly commercial the day before, get hotel rooms and prepare at the hotel, then it would to use the private jet. We all need to make sacrafices and just remember the CEO's are the ones that signed the union contracts.
I'm not a hater. I'm very happy with all the union contractors I've worked for. Everyone shouldn't be hatin' on the unions here.

I can say first hand that unions are not effective at all. I work in all the major shipyards that build Navy ships...from subs to Aircraft Carriers. There is a ship yard in the south that builds the same ship that is build in a shipyard in the north. The south yard builds 2 1/2 ships to every 1 ship built up north...SAME SHIP...Guess which yard has a hard core UNION!!!!

I am a small indapendent contractor.

We hear the story from guys who are Union all the time and even they laugh at the STUPID union rules.
They make big money, they cant do this ro cant do that and have to stand around and wait for the other crew to come and do some BS that they could have done in two minutes.
All the time the clock is ticking and money is going down the drain.

I know there are many good things the Unions have done for the work forces of america but as stated earlier what good are union rules if they price th companies right out of the game.

As with any story there are two sides to each one and good and bad on either side but these Unions need to take a hard look at the situation at hand and scale back a bit so that people dont lose thier jobs.

I agree and I belong to one of those unions which makes provisions to get work. Some jobs get paid a lesser rate to keep the members working.

Its good to hear someone out there at a union has some common sense.
