Boat Chase and Crash

Great chase scene. I was going to say they copied from Live and Let Die, but this movie was made in 1971 and the Bond movie in 1973. Never heard of it.
Brings back a lot of memories. I had a mint 1972 Glastron GT150, orange and white identical to the boat in Live and Let Die. It had the original 80 hp Mercury inline on it. I eventually rerigged to a brand new Evinrude 100 XP. That boat was a little rocket.
Here are the chases from Live and Let Die. All Glastrons in these chases, they sponsored. This was the world record for a boat jump for a long time.

That scene in Live and Let Die was filmed in Irish Bayou in La. about 10 minutes from where I grew up and lived for 35 years. I use to go fishing there when I was a kid.
They need to work on the sound effects. The one boat did not sound like it had zoomies.
