I just got a postcard in the mail from Profile Custom Powerboats and they are offering a 38' V Poker Run Edition w/ 500efis for $159,000. Are these boats for real or high perf bayliners???
That $159,000 is less than a used Top Gun!

That's the first time I've heard about potential business problems with Profile!
I don't know anything about the big V-hull, but a small dealer in our town has a brand new 2002 28' cat in stock with a HP500-EFI. It was the boat used in Hot Boat's swimsuit edition. When he first got the boat in November he wanted $89,000, but now he will take $65,000. The boat is listed in the OSO classifieds.
From what I saw of the boat it was pretty nice.
