I was there and I am a Tide fan. I would not exactly call it laying on the wood but they did win fair and square. Bama needed to play 4 full quarters to win. They played 3.5. It probably should have been the national championship. Great game. Few penalties turnovers and the Gator fans around me showed class.

I am looking forward to the Gators putting the spank on the Sooners.

I am a Gator fan/alum and I agree, not really laying wood. Two really talented teams and a slug-fest. I am pleased to hear the Gators around you represented the team with class. An exciting game for sure. I hope the NC goes like 06 and it is early blow out so I can drink and relax.
If Florida gets 100% healthy I dont see them losing, I agree, I feared Bama more then anyone else.

I did not .... I thought it would be easy ..... I was wrong ...Bama has great team speed and very physical ...I think the difference was that the Gators have a cpl of more big play makers than Bama ... I was definitly worried during the 3rd quarter ...m

OSU is already a 11.5 dog versus UT. As and OSU guy, I hope since we are the big time under dogs we come out on top. I don't think this will be the case though...

Still wish they would have matched AL and UT up. That would be one heck of a line up = UF vs OU and UT vs AL. Those two games would sure let you SEC and Big 12 guys hash it out on the field.

I'm just waiting for Tebow to meet OU's defense. He was talking about how he'd love to throw against Big 12 D......we'll see just how that goes.

He can ask Chase Daniel how it went, and his numbers aren't too shabby, actually, they're better than Tebow's....but I'm sure that's just those SEC D's.

Seriously, anyone who is claiming the SEC doesn't get "enough respect" is out of their mind, all you hear about is the SEC.

I"ve heard a lot of people that aren't OU fans say they'd like to see Oklahoma take down the SEC because of all the sackriding they get.

The SEC is definitely better than the Big East, Big Ten, and Pac Ten, consistantly though, and that's where all the writers live. :rolleyes:

Anyone that claims the SEC is better than the Big 12 this year is out of their mind.....however, the rest of those conferences you mentioned are a joke this year.

The biggest injustice is the Big East and ACC clowns getting a BCS game, while Tech (and other deserving schools) is left out. The only reason the Big 10 sneaks in two teams to ruin two games is name recognition.
