I was there and I am a Tide fan. I would not exactly call it laying on the wood but they did win fair and square. Bama needed to play 4 full quarters to win. They played 3.5. It probably should have been the national championship. Great game. Few penalties turnovers and the Gator fans around me showed class.

I am looking forward to the Gators putting the spank on the Sooners.

I am a Gator fan/alum and I agree, not really laying wood. Two really talented teams and a slug-fest. I am pleased to hear the Gators around you represented the team with class. An exciting game for sure. I hope the NC goes like 06 and it is early blow out so I can drink and relax.
If Florida gets 100% healthy I dont see them losing, I agree, I feared Bama more then anyone else.

I did not .... I thought it would be easy ..... I was wrong ...Bama has great team speed and very physical ...I think the difference was that the Gators have a cpl of more big play makers than Bama ... I was definitly worried during the 3rd quarter ...m
