Shipping Motors ??

I have the motors boxed up in Merc crates and need to ship them, Who do you all recommend.

Boomer35 12-08-2008 09:26 AM

Old Diminion Truck Freight, its the only way to go, i shopped everyone, i finally used them, shipped 2 500 EFI's in separate crates, from Jax FL to alb NY, they left on monday, were there tuesday at 5pm, 230$/crate.. how do you beat that?

jryan26 12-08-2008 09:28 AM

Ive had great luck with FedEx freight.

t500hps 12-08-2008 09:31 AM

Every carrier out there screws up occasionally.....just make sure you insure them properly!!!!

WARPARTY36 12-08-2008 09:37 AM

Give me crate dimensions, weights, and an address and I'll get a cost. We get huge discounts with the freight companies, and they will be easier to load at my place than yours.

Thats how we work with all the truck lines as well, forklifts always make it nice with user friendly loading docks. I use Old dominion alot but everybody uses different. Hows it goin Bubba?

Perfect.

I shipped one of my Zul's once, and the shipping company sat something on it. It was an easy fix thankfully, but the crating could have been MUCH better.

That, or call Tyson! He's taken my stuff all over the place and they get there quick and safe. :ernaehrung004:

Make sure they put the "1200sci" stickers on before they send em back too! :evilb::drink:

AIR TIME 12-08-2008 11:10 AM

From my experiences

STAY AWAY FROM CONWAY!!!

Quinlan 12-08-2008 07:13 PM

I second the conway advise. I have furniture shipped to me from everywhere and conway has the MOST damage of all by far.

CAL MAN 12-08-2008 07:19 PM

Hey Mike I could just ship you the 1200 decals instead of you shipping the engs all the way here.:cool-smiley-027:

pbam22 12-08-2008 07:56 PM

Great, but I really want the 850's so I don't have to worry about fuel.
That's about all it should take to stay ahead of AJ.:party-smiley-004:

Since your motors are going to be sitting beside AJ's, we can have engine stand races:ernaehrung004:

I may just have to do a surprise shop inspection:cool:
