I bought the Sams club one for my dad a couple yrs ago and for the $$ pretty nice.

I was using my older fluorescent and my LED one last night. The LED has a narrower beam/light projection area. Fluorescent definately brighter. It would need a ton of Leds to compare to a 100 watt bulb.

I have 2 30 Led freedom lites. I use them all the time. They also make a 60 Led model. I bought them from tool warehouse .com, Doug

I saw some 110v on the Snap on truck a few years back, it was made by Ferret Instruments Inc.It looked to be high quality.Did a goggle didn't find any,I'm wanting one thats bright and not a long tube, like for under the dash size. Ferret discontinued that light if that is what you want you can get the longer freedom light but they are about 3/4 of an inch thicker than the light you saw on Snap-Ons truck |
Easy- Facom
Facom makes the best Led handheld rechargeable Ive ever seen.
http://www.pro.facom.fr/CatalogueGen...AG-CAT-05.aspx Brutal money, but Facom quality is like snap on tools or better. (actually I like my Facom ratchets more) Uncle Dave |
