A Skater will always be at least 1mph faster than a Nor-tech! :evilb:

Just bustin Terry! :p

Both boats are distinctively different from one another and both boats are outstanding boats.

silverskater40 12-30-2008 06:19 PM

3600, I thought CRC ran 160.1 with pumped up supercat motors at over 800hp per side, at the run in NC at Fountain . has a Piston MTI ever been over 185?, heard that CRC runs that in the straights in race trim with their 1400+hp, 1200 Mercs.

Sorry I was so late on this thread, been riding dirt bikes to much I guess.
Are you crazy or something. Those were little ole cooking motors, 1075 mercs. You know us MTI guys like that factory stuff and pump gas.I ran the boat in Havazoo with Randy and we were second to the first card stop. CRC was first.:ernaehrung004:
Also to answer your other question about any MTI's over 180, CRC ran 198 that thursday.:evilb::evilb:

Freedom US1 ran 147.2 this weekend with two speed trannies. Not bad for open cockpit piston powered 46. 150 + shouldn't be a problem.

silverskater40 01-04-2009 06:11 PM

Jimmy, thats smokin for a 46, did you put the 1.24's in her, did you go with Hering 5 blade 38's or 40's
