I don't know Gary or anyone involved. I read this thread just like everyone else did and was surprised to hear the charges against Gary Taylor, a well respected firefighter, engine builder of high performance marine engines and a family man. Like many others who have read about Gary's engine building abilities in Magazines, I was shocked to hear the charges. I don't want to guess what happened or if he is innocent or guilty. There will be more then one victim here when this is concluded one way or another and if guilty that person should get what ever the Judge hands down and if innocent he should get all the support we can give him. Let's just read about what is said in the courtroom. What matters is what comes out of the court hearing and not what is said on the on OSO Forum.

I Think Its Funny How Everybody Is Defending Him. If He Is Inocent, Great. But If This Was Any Regular Joe He Would Already Be Guilty And Everybody Would Be Talking Crap About Him.

For all of you crying foul and calling the little girl a liar. How many people in prison right now that were convicted of child molestation would you say are innocent? 1% perhaps 2% out of hundreds of thousands? You're all betting that he's in this 1-2% group? I'm willing to bet that only the truly vile molesters ever got a 1mil bond.

They can't stand it he has a better deal in life than them even though he did it off solely on his own sweat and risk. He had a good paying job with benefits that gave him enough time off to run a successful business in a very competitive field. And we are stuck with those that just can't stand the thought of it, nor the thought of presumption of innocence. Gary Taylor would be successfull at anything he did, or anything he has ever done. And that right there is keeping some people with no depth to their character awake at night with envy. |

If you look closer, it's those who are jealous of Gary that sling crap at him.

Guilty or NOT like so many have posted his life is RUINNED Especially when a child is involved!! Please don't me out to be an activist!! I just simply have read year after year about the man and his engines and just like so many other Hibernators during the winter have been following this thread... |

That story is hardly similar to a jealous, spiteful estranged-wife leveling vengeful pay-back actions through her child. So, next time you wash a sick child off in the shower, rinse vomit out of their mouth with the shower hose, you'll be a sexual suspect and let's add oral copulation to the counts too. Bail was never intended to be punishment. In Garys case it's clearly being used as punishment. Let me throw it back again. If this was a female, the accused would be released with no bond, no jail nothing,,, period.

even though you are speaking of due process, you hint through your words that he is being set up?
Right-out-of-the-gate Gary has his balls nailed to the jail floor. What does that tell you in a innocent-until-proven-guilty system? He is out $300.000 to $1.000.000 in legal costs, plus all the other loss of estate value, income and future earnings losses. All on the strength of an accusation coached by a jilted ex-wife. Gary's situation in no way dovetails into the corrupt cop and the slutty 14 year olds saga. |
