All this smart guy talk has a dumb guy like me cornfused.
All I really want is to go faster than what I am now without having to spend a ton of money.

It does not make anymore power, and your already driving the female rotor on the 2.3. It makes the same power, just different INPUT speed. So, if you want to run the male rotor, you'll have to run your motor in the oppisite direction (otherwise SC sucks air out of engine because rotors are going wrong direction) and will have to spin the compressor 66% faster to get the same airflow as you have now because it would only be a 1.38liter.

Again I think what you have done is great. Great idea and good solution as mentioned earlier.

I'm not fighting with anyone I just find it funny how a few always want to give Dustin a hard time when he knows his business and is successful at what he does.

Nobody picked on Poor Dustin, this thread was started by BigYCat about a upgrade he came up with to solve a problem. Dustin didn't seem to have a problem with the thread. This site takes on good and bad!!
How many companys have putdown bravos design and claim they have the best.Thats business no more no less.Thank god for people like Karl K and Pat W, speedmaster drives or #6 would not be here today if not for the blood sweat and money put into there upgrades.Tom Huber took a a BW transmission that was rated for 475HP and improved it to 1450HP and Bam drysumped it added another 100.I could go on all day but this site was set up for OFFSHORE ONLY performance boaters who could relate and share information.
I have no problem with any advertiser promoting there product and claiming how great it is but if it fails public forums will discuss a solution.Dustin is a big boy and handles his self in a professional manner.
If you want a true test remove your 800s from the BAJA stick them in a 40' or larger cat, doulble the HP,change the chips to 6800, welcome to our world>>OH run it for 15-20 mile wot. :ernaehrung004:

Dustin, I'm looking into purchasing a boat, one has Merc 1075hp and the other has Sterling 1150/1350hp. If I convert the Merc or Sterling engines over to a EFI Whipple what type of HP can I expect out of both on 93 octane and racing fuel? Would I be going with the 5.0 or 8.3 and are there any other required modifications other than intake? Thank you

You'd be going with the 8.3's and for the Sterling's, I think you can reasonably expect 1250 on 93 octane and 1500hp on race gas. But there's more left on top for even bigger gains.

No modifications to speak of.

Mike was offering an upgrade of the 1150/1350 with the quad rotor with new hp at 1250/ 1500 and 1550 with the efi. I was figuring the new 8.3 might had done better. Regardless the 8.3 seems to be the way to go with less issues of part faliures. Thanks for the info Dustin
