So $30-40k for a twin 300 Verado repower parts and labor If I got one that needed a repower ? I could do it myself but it would be my first OB repower so I would be learning the whole time and may just farm it out to save me the time.

Any repower I would do I think I would put some adjustable jack plates on so I had the ability to dial it in for all conditions.

Go to ALMERS in Delaware, they are the outboard repower specialists, grab a Salty Dog or go to there web site for info...

Dont quote me on this but I think the Verado 275 were around 18K each plus 5K to rig on the boat for twins, I believe that comes with all the smartcraft labor etc.... Please dont hold me to this but think this is very close to what I remember...

Witch one is it, there are a bunch out there for under 100k with people begging for an offer 05,06,07 with 250-300 Verados. I don't see me spending over 80 for one and it would have to be nice with a good trailer. I know they cost a bunch more a few years ago but the market sucks its a buyers market now.

I plan tobe into a CC and a ZRC Donzi for around 200k by May.

I know we have talked about ZrC's in the Donzi forum. I like your plan. I got my ZrC and in a year or two plan on adding a CC.

Is there a big difference in actual hull weight between Concept/Cig/Ocean/Etc.

How about Suzuki's big block 300hp? So it's jap power...but at least it's black...

My wife would have a $hit fit if the only boat we had was a sit down 5 pass no head or padded hatch boat, but shes a good girl and lets me have plenty of guy days and she likes poker runs because she knows they will have bathrooms at the stops. We can use the ZRC to go to dinner and stuff but I wouldnt want to hang out on it all day.

In this market I will have 2 boats for a lot less than I spent on the Nortech.
