You should try to make a trip to a boat show and crawl around a 292. The feel of quality and ergonomics is unmatched. We searched for 3 years before going with the Formula. Power stand-up bolsters, deep cockpit, and a nice windshield. Great for cruising. Never been in a AT, but the 292 is a heavy 24° deadrise V wave crusher for a 29 footer. Of course, the 29' includes the swim platform. She won't be the fastest, but with stock, turn key small blocks it can hold its own!

He had responded to a thread in the AT section, but then it got deleted for no appearant reason? Right now I'm thinking the 28 AT or a 32 Sunsation would be some of my best bets, keeping them less than 10 years old. The 32 with twin 6.2's will break 70 and be economical to run and easy to insure. I think that's a bit faster than the 28 with a 500? Sounds like cockpit wise they're similar, with the Sunny having a slightly bigger cabin. I've also started thinking of Sonic 31's more seriously too. As much as I would like a Bullet, I'm probably just better off going newer to keep it more reliable and all other issues easier. |

Sorry, that was my fault.. I was trying to change the thread title because I mistakenly said it was in CT when it actually was in Long Island. Wasn't able to change it and I didn't want to mislead anyone.
I was trying to figure out if it had been traded in or if they were selling it as a broker. Sounds like they are just the broker. |
