People brought up the sound of the Viper, stock they are so bottlenecked it's muffled (new version is louder though and has no cross over), when opened up sounds absolutely badass, nothing but compliments. Stock is blah sounding. Really unique sound with LT headers, high flow cats and mufflers. Especially with head and cam work, just pure nastiness. The unique sound is mainly b/c its odd firing order, 1,10-9.4-3,6-5,8-7.2

Thats good, when they first came out they sounded like a UPS truck.

I wonder how this package will perform and handle in a single engine setup compared to a NXT.....?

Funny, because the only thing I don't like about the V-10, is the sound. Not as throaty as a V8, and nowhere as exhilarating as a V12. It's just kind of lost in between.

That's very true.

I have a '93 and am running straight pipes out the sides. Does sound much better, and louder.

Sorry DW, its been a couple yrs. Post up some pics of your engine room. Probly not a whole bunch diff. You'd have to hear the boats side by side to tell i would think.

Agree, I had LT headers, no cats, and Mopar exhaust on a 01'. Just wicked sounding, extremely aggressive, loud, and deep. Sounded like dookey stock, they bottleneck the heck out of these cars. Going to pry grab an 08', incredible cars, so raw, brutal, and loads of character which is missing from almost every sports car today, Vette feels like a snoozemobile in comparison lol and I've tracked a C6 Z06 plenty of times.
