for not too much more i can put you in a brand new 38 e.c, with a nice warranty package to boot.
low maintanance, long warranty, cruise 40-45, 63-4 mph top, aft cabin, you'll be ready to roll. these machines handle rough water, turn like their bretherin, and are very fuel efficient. shoot me a p.m if interested.

Buy a waterfront house, keep the go-fast, and never look back.

it will be impossible to get a cruiser boat and be happy.
we have a carver 396 to spend the summer on. always take the cig out or our smaller ar210.
now that the kids are out of the house we have been looking for a combo boat.
nothing out there that will do the trick, nortechs, outerlimits, magnums, fountains, hustler, all big money. maybe buy one a few years old and save big money. the formula 40ss is nice, more of a party boat, not quite fast enough to run and living aboard is not good.
the way I look at it is you need to find a boat that fits the majority of your needs and never look back.
good luck with the boat search. there are many boats to choose from and everything in boating is a trade off
you could also look at a sunseeker 48 super hawk, comes with triples and also a deisel set up. usually there are 5 or 6 for sale in the states, not big money

If I ever make it big I am going to shoot for a 50V Nortech.

Don't know how big your budget (or truck) is though.....

Word, or buy a used older model cruiser and keep the go fast. That worked well for me.

If the wife's looking for a cruiser, let her buy a cruiser, but I'm not sure I'd co-sign the loan .

both great boat's but they are night and day difrence .
sonic has a 8.5 beam and the fountain a 10.5 . the sonic was more of a performance boat then a cruiser .
i will tell you thow if you have tv microwave ac. gen ect, in a performance boat you cant use it like a performance boat at least not in any rough water other wise everything will come loose .
the fountain is the same lenght but is a all around biger boat .
we can go out in the ocean in 3 to 4 footer's and cruise at 45 mph and i never have to throtle the boat . the back of the boat stay's in the water most all the time were as the sonic you would be cruising at 60 mph trying to jump wave's and hoping nothing come's loose in the cabin .
both great boat's but difrent type of boating
give me a call and i can discuss with you the boat's in more detail

Sonic I guess are bigger than my boat. Do you agree with this? What other brand could offer bigger than what I have, and have like: microwave, 1 or 2 fridge, a real toilet, that we can walk in the cabin pretty much standind instead of 4 feet high?

need your help guys. She's looking at things like maxum cruiser 3100...

suggestion and / or pictures please!!!!
Do what I did buy her a little cruiser of her own....picked up a nice SeaRay 280 Dancer last summer with AC and Gen and she loves it... She can take it out when she wants and loves it when her golf girls come down for the weekend.... Still have mine and one for her...all is good....
