Reupholstering seats "How, waterproofing the foam??''
#11
Thanks,How wide does it come? I need it for the hatch cover head rest and the 2 back seat back panels, bottom seat corners.
Will a heat gun work on it/or glue?

its a 60" roll and the best thing to do it just put it on. ( 2 layers work great) no glue and dont heat it, heat will shrik to a ball in two seconds. after its on the the heat from the sun will do all the work for you.

I like close cell foam, alot more exspensive but never absorbs water. Plus my seats will almost float the boat if it goes upside down..Been there done that

Formula uses Dri-Fast polyurethane foam throughout the cockpit. There is a picture demonstrating water flowing right through the foam in their brochure. The difference compared to regular foam is pretty amazing! They also use StarLite XL polyurethane marine paneling instead of wood. Under the foam in the back seat is StarLite with a lot of drain holes! Makes sense.
