I love the Fountains too. I tried to buy a 29 from a guy in Naples a year or so ago. Made him a serious, fair cash offer. He told me he wasnt budging and was a real jerk about it. Saw the boat for sale again about 3 months ago and he was selling it for $3500 less than what I offered. I kind of laughed a bit to myself, but times are totally different now versus then I guess. I totally understand the bucket, piss off the back, but my girlfriend and other female friends arent to keen. Since she is on my boat a lot, I figured if Im upgrading this is something I should take in to consideration.

Attachment 377705The price on a brand new 260 Roadster is $49,900 with a Merc V8 and bravo drive. The bottom is the same as the Spectre 24 Sportfish, but no outboard and built more for performance and style. Thus the "Performance Crossover" name. If anyone is interested feel free to contact me at 877-601-BOAT

Seriously not trying to start anything, but I have to ask. Isn't this a 22 foot boat that Spectre added in the swim platform (perfectly accepted practice these days) to call a 24, and now it has grown another 2 feet? How did this boat get a 260 label if nothing has changed?
The bottom running surface is a true 24, total overall length is 25ft 7in. So 260 is rounded up, sounds better than 257.
