Default What in the World is The Sea Stalker?

I just came home from visiting a friend in Atlantic Beach (Jacksonville) and there was an all aluminum cat hi and dry at his marina named "Sea Stalker". This thing had to be 75' long and was enormous. Had no motors but had two arneson drives with 40" props and a single Hamilton jet drive mounted between the arnesons. I climbed aboard while no one was looking and took a look around. This thing was set up to do some serious running. Had the baddest looking seats I have ever seen. Looks like something out of an F-16. My guess is that is was a purpose built boat to break the trans-Atlantic record or something. Looked like something Tom Gentry or Richard Branson would own. If anybody knows its history, I would love to hear it.

Sorry, I helped a friend move his boat from one marina to another. After we got the boat tied up, we went for a few drinks and there she was. I was totally unprepared.

The boat was located at the marina on the western side of the I-10 bridge just before you cross the intercoastal heading towards Atlantic Beach. It is also a Fountain dealer. Smallish marina with a ramp, hi and dry, and about 75 wet slips.

Catmando-I will change my avatar as soon as I find something better. I'll start looking now.

There are a whole bunch of boats around called Sea Screamer, Sea Flyer, etc. The one I was on in Myrtle Beach was a big sport fish hull with 2 Cat Diesels and a bunch of seats. I guess it goes about 30 or so with about 50 people on it. They put a radar arch on it to make it look fast. I wonder if the one you saw is the next level?? Did it have a bunch of rows of seats or was the hull empty? They do put out a hell of a wake when they get going I saw a 22 Donzi get about 10 feet out of the water behind that thing-of course his landing left a little to be desired They were probably cleaning sh*t stains out of it for a week
