Think about it, THE COMMISSION is 499, regardless of ANY SALE.

$499 would be extremely cheap to sell Jassmans boat. I used a similar service from a company called usold.com. Promised money back if not sold in 90 days. Well needless to say I did not get one call and have yet to see any money back. But if it did sell $499 is nothing. Not a whole lot to lose there.

If you pay them up front what incentive do they have to sell your boat? I think they are just going to take your money and run.

The incentive would be the fact that you will tell everyone you know where to sell and look for used boats, which in turns create a lot of business for them.

It's pretty much BS. They do it in the car business a lot as well.

"If you pay me $500, I have pre-approved buyers ready to buy your car/boat"

I probably got 10 different calls just like that when I was selling a car a couple of years back.

My response was always, "I'll gladly pay you $500, 'WHEN' you sell my car"

I never got a call back from any of them when I countered with that offer? lol

Search ABL here on OSO. It sounds like a waste of $$.
