We all know he can do a nice paint job. Has anyone had any bad experiences with him.

I can tell you from experience that he does an incredible job and I can say with certainty that if a customer wasnt happy Dean would do anything and everything in his power to make the customer happy. Super nice guy and great business man!!!!

Dean is not just a painter. He is an artist who puts his art on moving objects.

Bad Expierences....He did rip my t-shirt off me at Havasu a couple of years ago and never gave me a new one:evilb:

Extremely talented - incredibly nice - down to earth - and a blast to hang out with! Not to mention his value system is as good as it gets.

So who does the real work ?? Ok he lays it out but who gets the work done so Dean can make all the money ?

Dean is invovlved in every project in every way. He does have many selected employees that he has trained and monitors their work. Once again, you will not find anyone who is is not pleased and excited with the work that comes from TAOD.

No doubt , super nice work , but keep in mind that there is a team of talented people who do the dirty work and he gets all the press . I own a auto resto shop in NJ and without my crew I'm out of business.I hired one of the top custom bike painters in NJ to paint my SKater , his name is Scott Eller and is super talented , will keep you guys up to date .

I think he is a god painter,,but i know for a fact that on some of his work they had to do touch ups ,,,,but not on all.

The guy who did the touchups,,,he is a class1 painter and artist,,,painted my boat (no biggy job) in 3 days from bring it there to get it back !!!!

Boat was white with cracks and red and yellow strype !!!

His name is BOBBY SPRING ( psycho colors ) and he is real good although Members of this board ripped him off !!!!

I have 1 of Deans latest jobs in my shop now.

if you are saying this now, why did you ask the question? seems you have your own answer, or are you just looking to bust on TAOD and Dean?

You put a post out asking only for bad experiences with TAOD. You got nothing back but praise for their work and compliments to Dean. Not saying it is impossible for someone to have a disagreement, but look at the overwhelming opinions.

Definitely have my own answer. I asked the question to see if anyone else had any issues. If so, let them share their thoughts on the matter.

Looks great... Are those McCleod bolsters in the rear? The bottom of the seats look to be. Any more shots of this boat?

You need to "Get Real" and post your agenda, with a name, or "Get Lost". The rules of the forum do not tolerate people looking to slander others, that aren't confident enough in their "story" to sign their name to it.

He also signed a exclusive contract with Outerlimits that he will only paint new boats for that manufacturer. However if an individual wants a boat done that is allowed.

Very cool Donzi....... I have always admired them as simple boats with simple interiors but it is awesome as a bling bling edition too!

None of my posts have been slanderous to anyone. I have just asked questions. So here is another one. How many of you that are responding to this post have actually laid down big $$$ for work at TAOD.

How much did the truck and boat cost to get painted ?

This is not my boat it is a customers. I did the engine and all the rigging and I am currently doing a custom dash. We are waiting on the new front seats. They are being custom made by Mcleod interiors.

Customer. I have spent a considerable amount of $$$ at his shop. Not at all thrilled with the last project and outcome. Really did not want to get into a pissing match with everyone, I was just interested to see if anyone else had any issues.

Get Real needs to Get A Life.... This wannabe is new to the board and all he does is make really stupid posts...... Go over to Speedwake.com.... You will fit in much better over there..... By the way... Did you take your so called "Project Outcome" up with Dean or did you just go right to the OSO board...... PS.... In the future it should not take 4 pages of posts for you to state your issues..... Unless your just trying to be a trouble maker... The Julio Englesias Gladiator looks to be really clean/ 85 hours sitting on a Myco for 129K looks to be the best bang for the buck out there especially if it can be had 10-15% cheaper.

PM's boat looks great but doesn't mention hours/trailer but gets a plus for being a lake boat.

Actually in the market for the same kind of boat. After looking around I have not been able to find a 37/42 Cig/O/L for that kind of money. I have looked at a lot of dissappointments.
