Default Cool photo from back in the day!

When we were kids we had Checkmates and all we did was jump wakes all day! That's where my sickness started. This photo was sent to me today from a childhood friend i haven't spoken to in 30 years. (did I just say 30 years? i can't believe it, i'm ficken old!!) This picture will be either 29 or 30 years old this summer.

My first boat that I drove was a 21 ft Checkmate that I would borrow from my dad. Didn't handle the chop of LI Sound too well though, so you would end up getting pretty beat up, but still tons of fun!!

Cool pic Gino. It's kind of funny to look at that pic and have it next to the avatar of the MTI. Knowing the road you've taken to get to where you are today. You've come a long way and deserve everything you have! Maybe that checkmate is why you still love the little DONZI

Loved to take my little whaler out into the gulf when the waves were big, when i was in my young teens. Though we were safe...we did wear vest and the kill switch.
