I have the boat Griff posted on the lot! Nice boat!

I also owned a 1992 270. Replaced just about every piece of wood on the entire boat. Ran nice, had a 502, 67mph light load. Getting on to the top deck from the cockpit was a biotch!

My first boat was a 1990 250ES (same boat) and I felt it was an excellent boat and the perfect first boat. 454 mag ran well, reliable, respectable speeds and handling. for a first boat, I'd advise against a big power boat and go with stock power for less maintenance hassles.

Like everyone said, look it over well, and get a survey.
