This was the best response GLH!! Good one! It only takes about 2 minutes to hook up a hose and run water to the water muffs for the outdrive. No reason to potentially cause damage when the cost of the muffs is less than an impellor kit!

I didnt want to run water through the ngines yet....shouldnt freeze but didnt want to take the chance.

Jerry rig muffs with a hose in a 5 gallon bucket or two of winterizing fluid.

BTW don't do that over grass.... My father in law had a 20' circle of dead grass for a summer a few years back he was really proud of me for!!!
