My friends and I would go skiing every weekend behind Yacht Club Estates or Paradise Island. When we'd hear the boat roaring, we'd race to the intercoastal to see them go by.

We have a Scarab Sport right now with some big outboards. Wife knows wha the next boat will be. When we get it, i plan to gather alot of load boats for periodic running like the old days.

The Violater days and Greenstreets were some big fun! Still have the recipe for the Rumrunners that squirrley Shirley served us. Did many 100+ mph flyby's in the narrows there from my STV to the bigger Motion boats I built later on......

I might have some pics of Violator and a couple of others from 1982-86 if I remember correctly. Taken from condos across Gulf Shore Blvd. in Indian Shores/Indian Rocks Beach Sandcastle II and III. I'll see if I can find, scan and post early next week...

i have hundreds of pictures of violator, there are some posted on screamandfly under the randy rabe rabco boats gallery.....i have about 10 scrap books full of old metalflake rabco boats , tom verdun owner of violator in its time has bought another rabco from tom huber and put violator down the side , you can see it on his lift sitting behind his house on treasure island , alot of leople think its the same boat but its not....it sounds great with a big lair of 540s in it , pretty cool 30 years later the rabco name is still out there shaking people's Windows on saturday and sunday. tom also had a 35 rabco with twin 300 yamahas but recently sold it. pretty cool to have 2 rabcos one there own lifts out back!
i also own one of my dad original 20 foot rabco hookers. still has the metalflake stripes
