1st Crack open a case of beer with your buddies (helps with decision making)

2nd Tie transom to biggest tree in yard and spray trailer bunks with WD-40. One can per bunk.......

3rd Hook up truck to trailer, mention to your buddies "watch this" and floor it....... Make sure drive(s) are up so they won't get damaged.

When your done tie the trailer to the tree and hook a rope to the bow eye and just pull it back on the trailer with your truck........

Then post pics for all here to learn from..........:food-smiley-007:

Hey,,you are wrong !!!!!People did this already,,,,and not funny .LOL

The reason why its not so funny,,,is because first u need to dig a hole ..partialy under the trailer,,,and set some 4X4's across it ...so the boat lands on them !!!
Because if not,,,how will u detail it ?????
Then back the trailer in to the hole and jank the 4X4's out undernith the boat .DONE:ernaehrung004:

YOU ARE NOT THINKING TOO GOOD........

Boat will lean to one side naturally so when you are done with the one side just push it over to the other side and keep on detailing.........:ernaehrung004:

I agree, boat stands a floor jack and a few BIG blocks. Put mine on the trailer that way about a month ago...takes about 45 min.

what do you mean by detail? If you mean wax it - dont..it will slow you down. i would pay to have a fork life pick it up and then you can wash the bottom.

I have done the whole tie the transom to the tree and pull the trailer out from under the boat back in the day...not the best idea

Thanks.

Stop by your local marina and ask to rent their yard arms. They are specificaly made to get your boat off the trailer. Very quick and easy to do. It will take you longer to get them out of the truck than to get the boat off the trailer.

Funny... two pages later and finally a SERIOUS answer!

Maybe I could buy a few yard arms. Then a jack, a few blocks and I suppose that's it, huh?

Westcoast 04-17-2009 09:24 AM

Yard arms are VERY expensive
