Look for the 2000 vintage F250/Excursion..that year had the forged 7.3 90% of the time.You simply couldn't kill that motor.

I have an 01 F-250 4x4 7.3 Im rebuilding, just passed inspection will be ready next week. Dark green with tan on the bottom. 145k, I was going to keep if for myself but I bought a black dually, Im going to keep it instead. The 01 is a super clean truck all we had to do was put a fender, door, and bed on it. Let me know if you want some pictures. The deals are on the light hits, as long as you dont have to start replacing coolers and stuff on the front.

Here is a 08 f450 we did, only 10k theft recovery. Not a scratch on it, but it had a salvage title.

here is the dually Im going to keep its an 00 with 212k. put the 06 front end on it and 22.5's. Waiting on inspection before I put the new bed and hood on.

I take it these all have salvage titles? Looking for something along these lines as well, but really would like an excursion.

Rottiguy, you don't have a tailgate for a 2000/2001 black & tan Lariat LE do you? I could use one.
