Yeah more like 280lbs, but thanks for trying!!

the deck is the most solid deck I have ever walked on. And I spent more time then I would want on this boats deck :-)

Awesome looking ride!! I was telling someone the other day about your superchargers when Dale came flying by in the Hemi boat - they looked under the hatch - looked at me - and said - are those TWO blowers on each engine?? LOL!!

Take care!

The 48 Outerlimits catamaran was spectacular ... and so, so solid. We're talking granite.

When the Powerboat magazine crew took out the boat earlier this week on the Colorado River, the wind was a sustained 20-plus-mph and blowing up the river, meaning it created steep 3-foot back-rollers and lots of holes. As expected, we couldn't even feel them in the big cat.

I'd love to tell you how fast the boat went (OK, way fast), but my editor would have to kill me. You can read about it in the summer "Speed and Technology" issue.

Mike, Dustin and all the folks at Outerlimits and Whipple ... nice job. Great to see you and, as usual, too short.

customryder 05-01-2009 05:27 PM

How are you liking the Teague engines?

skater40 05-01-2009 09:54 PM

Dustin-congrats on the new boat. Now all you need is a tilt trailer to cross the us in style.Call paul.

That is an awesome cat!

Why was this boat sold and repowered so fast? I love the boat just wondered why a new boat would have the merc 1200s taken and sold to be repowered so fast.

Same reason you just repowered your ride, there is always room for improvement:drink: and us as high performance boaters are always looking for just a little, I mean alot more....:ernaehrung004:

johnlomant 05-02-2009 07:15 AM

I got ya I thought someone else owned the boat before Dustin

26 REDLINE 05-02-2009 07:36 AM

They did, Dustin just had to make it his own. By the way, Steve and I will be coming to Jacsonville in June. Will you be there?:evilb:

Anyway, heading out the door @ 8:00 fixing to hit the river for the Tickfaw 200...:ernaehrung004:

Customer wanted a V bottom with a cabin for his family and there boating needs. And while I think Mercury motors are nice, the likelyhood of me owning one in my own boat is extremely limited!! :drink: So, the boat became available, we snatched it up.

Motors are great and ran flawlessly for a good 15 hours at Desert Storm.

johnlomant 05-02-2009 04:48 PM

I got ya this has to my favorite boat ever.

CB-BLR 05-03-2009 12:14 AM

Dustin,

Wow, what a cool boat!

You do make a Stage II upgrade for the motors... right

Chris :ernaehrung004:

dcrighton 05-03-2009 10:19 PM

Tommy should be putting the new motors on the dyno this week so it looks like a go. Also getting some more paint work done to the interior and engine room but everything should be finished in about 2 weeks.
