The 48 Outerlimits catamaran was spectacular ... and so, so solid. We're talking granite.
When the Powerboat magazine crew took out the boat earlier this week on the Colorado River, the wind was a sustained 20-plus-mph and blowing up the river, meaning it created steep 3-foot back-rollers and lots of holes. As expected, we couldn't even feel them in the big cat. I'd love to tell you how fast the boat went (OK, way fast), but my editor would have to kill me. You can read about it in the summer "Speed and Technology" issue. Mike, Dustin and all the folks at Outerlimits and Whipple ... nice job. Great to see you and, as usual, too short. |

Dustin,
Wow, what a cool boat! You do make a Stage II upgrade for the motors... right  Chris :ernaehrung004: |
Tommy should be putting the new motors on the dyno this week so it looks like a go. Also getting some more paint work done to the interior and engine room but everything should be finished in about 2 weeks.
