Hang in there
I wish you and your family the best of luck. You will get through this however take however long it takes to get back on track. Your mother will always be with you regardless. She will be in your dreams, she will be in your thoughts, You will hear her voice and you will awake in a pile of tears. Some times the world works in mysterious ways. Times like this make you realize how all those family get togethers are so important (even on 90 degree days). Be sure and allow the support of other family members and friends as they will help you in ways you never thought of. Enjoy life and do all the things have always wanted. Live as if it may be your last day. You just never know...
I recently lossed my sister at the age 42, completely unexpectedly. My parents found her at her home lying on the floor. We were all devistated. I can't imagine what my parents are going through. It's tuff on all of us. I have always loved and protected her from a small child and I remember the last time she phoned me on one of her late night drunk dialings. So glad I picked up, so glad. She saved my life years ago after a car fell on me. After calling 911 she attempted to lift the car and said if she could only have been the one to have this happen. I had only seconds left prior to the ambulance arriving. She gave me the strength to hang in there.
She was wonderful and will always be missed. She always said, Johnny you only live once, live life and love it. You'll never regret it. "Always do as you feel" and you will do right.
We should pick day and set a time this summer to have a memorial on the water for all those loved ones lost.
Take care good buddy and hang in there. I feel for you and your family. Just know it's OK to cry. Your Mother will always be watching over you.
Take care of yourself,
John

I know of no words to offer that can carry the burden of your loss, I wish I did! I can only offer my sincerest condolances and the assurance that you and your family will be in the prayers of mine

I am sorry for your loss. Suks when parents get older, mine are just getting to stage of life where I do more to help and roles reverse. Stories liek yours make me sad, but remind me that life and time with loved ones is a precious and finite thing . Reminds me that making time to visit should be always be a priority. Once again, I am sorry for your loss. RIP.
