I think Pete shot one of the races from Sebago last year. It always looks like the folks are having a good time. :drink:

I talked to the Sebago people they are definately going to be a turn boat and have a pretty good deal for viewing the races.
$79.00 includes breakfast, lunch, beer, wine, and softdrinks and a cash bar, they claim to have a shaded area. If you get 10 or more in a group your price is $69.00. Everyone I spoke to that watched the race from the Seabago loved it. I am thinking about getting a group to go for the Friday races. So if anyone is interested let me know. I guess you will have to post here since I can't get PM's any longer. |

Damn, really? Last year we stayed at the Westin, and the cruise ships were there Thursday & Saturday, but cleared out for the Friday race & Sunday? I didn't think the Coast Guard allowed them in the harbor during the races due to safety concerns?
That would SUCK to have your view totally blocked by one of those giants. :angry-smiley-038: |

Yeah, I was doing some research on the Westin for next year. A lot of the reviews were slaming the views because of the cruise ships. They also were complaining of the exhaust. If you guys enjoy it this year, my wife and I will be there for next years race. Have a great time.
