Heading out for the maiden voyage today!!! First run of 2009
Baja is back on the trailer, drive is back on, just changing the drive oil right now.
In about an hour we are heading up to St. Clair for the first run of the season, and first one with the Baja... Gonna be a chilly one today. About 55 as a high, NW winds at 16kt, seas 1'-3'... Got a small craft advisory, so it will be a fun one!
Will bring some pictures back tonight.
Thanks for everyone's help through the repair/maintenance.

Hope all goes/went well for you, I know you've been putting some time into that thing. I was going to head out there today as well, but decided it was too cold and the Red Wings game was too important This is the latest it's ever been for my first trip out. Planning on next weekend!

We launched at the DNR launch just north of Shook Rd, (south of metropark). Shot out to muscamoot bay and strawberry island, then shot downtown to the Hoedown and hung out around Hart Plaza for a while. Then shot back up and had a late lunch at Jacks.
It was a good run, handled the chop really well. Definitely needs to be faster, but that will come this winter. (not to mention the speedo doesn't work, so gotta check on that problem)
Will have some pictures shortly!

Geeze you put on some miles for the maiden voyage. Glad everything worked for ya. We'll be around Gull island all next weekend, if you see a white/black 38' Powerquest stop by.
