Sean, Depending on where your drives are mounted on the transom you might be able to sneak a bm 250 or a whipple under it without modifying it . I would stay away from the blow through carb set-up if possible . As far as the lower end handling the horsepower of 5 lbs of boost ,I would say without a doubt, unless the motors have alot of hours. I have put blowers on about 8 , 420 motors for customers and they all run very nice. A supercharger would put you at the limit with the trs drives. One thing I would suggest you check into on the drives if when they were rebuilt if they had the washer machined for the lower bearings and gear. This is a trick that helps the drives live alot longer , under higher horsepower. Not every merc mech/shop does this , it requires putting the drive together and disassembly till you get the right preload on the bearings.(time is money). If you have any questions feel free to call me . 805-2253 cell

Tom, thanks for the info.

Oz,

I was thinking the same thing...on all counts! These AT guys ain't all bad

As for Block Island...you bet!!! I used to take the 28 there about twice a summer, but now, I think we'll be making some more trips!! Can't wait.

I don't think I'll do any poker runs this year...just my little run to Claudios...I wanna get used to the boat before I do any major runs.

TTYS!

Sean..........Great look'n ride. Love that simple design with the small stripe graphics........gives it that classic "muscle car" look.
(sorry, best example I could think of). Good luck with it. Beautifull boat !!!!!!
