That said Randy is a great guy and builds one hell of a boat!!
You wont go wrong with those two to pick from..
I like that theres plenty brands,,keeps the competition

Whichever is the best deal.
Either are great, but Skaters are the Cigarettes of cats!!!
If you look at the big guns getting cats in the last few years I have seen a lot of buyers start with Nortech's then going to MTIs and now Mystic is the flavor of the month.
Skater has always been at the top of the game.
My guess is JT has won more World Championship in MTI's than anything else but I'll give that to the fact that he would win with an upside down table that has an engine on it!

Ferrari's are nice works of art but like some heavily made up chicks they come apart as soon as you ride them a little hard...
Porsche are tough as nails. I have a garage full of broken Ferrari spare parts to prove it!

This thread has taken a mean turn. Comparing a Skater to a Ferrari and a MTI to Camaro is taking brand loyatly to a fault. More like comparing a Lambo to a Ferrari. First let me say I own both a Skater and a MTI. The reason there is so much brand loyalty to Skater is the fact they have been in business much longer than MTI and there far more Skaters out there. Everybody loves the brand of boat they own or they would not own it. Right now the flavor of the week for cats is Mystic. The hottest hull out there period. The Mystic is the hull all cat owners lust after. As for Skater and MTI both are very fast, handle great and are well built. I would look for used in either hull and make your own decision.
