Had twin Caterpillar 3208 diesels, inboards, through the "T-Torque" surface drive system. Wider beam, maybe 11' or so, if memory serves me. Nice build quality, no speed burner though. They were pretty heavy. I'd say 45-50 MPH max.

My family had one back in 88-89.
Was worst of both worlds.
Stupid cockpit layout, had to take a few steps to get over the engines and into back cockpit.
Was about 10ft beam.
Not fast, and not roomy.
The T-Torque did throw a good rooster.
Ours sank at the dock, then went up north, i think to canada.

Thanks for some info.
I thought the boat seemed to be cool.
Any pic's that you can share on how there set up
Seemed to have a bit of everything, cabin with standing head room and a lot of sun space and could run how fast???????
Any out there that you know of and what are they worth $$$$

not sure, i'd guess it ran in the mid-upper 40s w/ the 3208 cats(375hp).
It's a heavy boat.
We had the riviera.
It had twin bolster at helm + 1 to port.
Then the engine box w/ hand rail w/ aft cockpit.
Looks like the sport would be a better layout.
If you look at the pic of the sport its running in BIG water.

Didn't the mold for the 44' come from a Mirage? or some other boat? I remember one that was docked at Rum Runners in Miami on Maul Lake. when he left the marina and nailed it, it wouldn't get on plane for a mile or more.
