well I'll be
Never even heard a peep about that event. Maybe someone else has, I know there is a fairly large Baja dealer on the river, not sure of any other performance type dealers, but there must be.
Lake center marina is a very nice facility, precisely where I was refering to on the Mississippi river, upstream from St Louis, and the confluences of both the Missouri and Illinois rivers with the Mississippi. I have been on friends boats that were stored both in the rack facility and on the water at that place. Usually, we put in at a ramp near there that is open to the public and go water skiing after work. We can be on the water in about 45 minutes from where I work.

RobOH,
Your a good sport. Best of luck to you and the new bride. Be safe on that river and tell her you have 30 good years before you need a cruiser.
Look us up if you are ever in North Carolina.

RobOH-
Welcome. I'm from Cincy and have boated here and on the APBA Offshore Race Circuit. I went to school at St.Louis University so I know much about both Cincy and St.Louis. They are very much alike. Cincy riverfront is much better than St.Louis. I lived in St.Louis during the floods in 93'. The river isn't as bad as the Ohio since it is much wider so the logs and junk tend to stay near the banks. Lake of the Ozarks is definitely the place to be. I only had the chance to head out there just for one weekend in four years but it was one of the best ones I've ever had. Best of Luck to you. If you miss Cincy we are only a 5 hour drive back. The Cincy Poker Run is a great event when the weather holds up. It was raining last year so not too much fun but the year before it was wonderful. Not a cloud in the sky.
