Caincando1,
Don't know. I've modified my exhaust to drop between the drives and it is a lot quieter now. Maybe see you then.

I heard from a participant of the Liquid Jungle Poker Run last year that the DNR was aware of the event and positiioned themselves at key points to hand out noise violations. I installed both mufflers and turn-downs this year to avoid problems.

Water level is very normal right now, neither high nor low.

Not so sure about that. I have been there the last few years and although they were out on the water, they waved to us as we motored past ... and we were certainly beyond the limit.

Maybe Cain can confirm but I do not think there has BEEN even ONE noise ticket on the LJPR...

Thanks everyone for the input. We are going to do the poker run and stay at Parkside. I was told that we should be ok launching ours at the marina as 50' boats have launched. Hope to see some of you at the run.

Just something I heard. He also told me guys were running into the Treasure Island Casino to avoid getting stopped.

That's a completely different poker run that doesn't even exist anymore. We don't go anywhere near Treasure Island. We've never had a noise ticket issues since we stopped going to Goodhue County in 2004. Actually I don't think any were issued in 2003 either, just a couple warnings. We're ticket and issue free and don't see that changing. We have a great reputation and the locals know that we aren't a booze cruise.

In fact both of the local county water patrols all sit and wave at us as we go by. So no worries!

Did you have any issues in 2004 when you came? We haven't had any noise issues and I think your probably just fine.

Don (MNHowardcat) has a very similar set up on his "American Beauty" top gun.

No worries he's talking about the Miss-Croix Poker Run, were they did in fact have a problem with the water patrol and tickets which is too bad.

While I'm on a roil with posts, there's some nice coverage in this months Scuttlebutt magazine with an article and full page ad.

Yes Parkside has big ramps and a sling too. So you'll have nothing to worry about. They are used to putting in 45-50 footers. What size boat are you bringing?
