would you have to strip it before putting the Rhino liner on it?

Yea it comes in all kinds of colors - I thought about having my leading faces that allways get chipped done in white to match. It was $700 he paid.

Theres a place out here where I live...about 6 hours from Havasu.... That was going to sand blast, put a new fender on, then put this stuff on it kinda like a primer but it's what they use on the offshore oil rigs to coat the metal rails that run under the salt water to stabalize the platforms, then primer it, then paint it candy purple to match the boat for 850 bucks.

I do like the rhino liner idea, and have heard that it works well from others too. I still need to do my trailer, so it's either going to be the paint guy or the rhino liner.

Yea it has to be sand blasted first if you want it to come out correct.

Ok, I was just thinking that no one sandblast the bed of there truck when they have the rhino liner put in so maybe you wouldn't have to strip all the paint off the trailer either.

I'm thinking if the trailer was brand new you wouldn't have to. But with rust and old paint I'm thinking it is a must. Truck beds are usually rust free when they shoot the stuff in. The few guys I know of that had it done said they had the trailers sand blasted to assure it would stick correctly.

If it has any rust ,you have to blast it . New paint needs to be scuff sanded . You have to ruff it up a little to get it ot stick . They do truck beds with the scotch brite pads by hand .
