Hey Ron.... been a while but .... was called the last supper as it was the last time Jesus and all the deciples (sp) were together it was then when Jesus stated that one of them would betray him. which was Judas..it was shortly after that if not the next day that Judas carried out that prophecy....the trial and the crusafiction cam e swiftly...... thats all i know about that...

I always thought the last supper was his last with his Deciples before his death. I just had no idea it was because of a seperate event.
