Near Newport in Ky. Slighty up and across the river from Montgomery Inn.

Seriously trying to make it. As long as the brakes work on the trailer, I will be there. Is the ramp at Manhattan marina usable - or - good ole schmidt field...

last time we were in there it seemed pretty deep, so I would assume you would be alright using Manhattan's ramp. I still would much rather lauch my boat at schmidt so I dont have to fight Dayton Ky.

Guys, there is plenty of water at Manhattan Harbor been launching there all summer. There is 6 feet at the ramp and 7-8 feet going thur the mouth to the river. They have been dredging since late April. The river is in great shape, actually it is in better shape then Cumberland was Memorial Weekend. Locate price for 87 gas is $2.39, river price was $3.15 at 4 seasons last Sunday.
