Well the market is a drag but we're going to keep coming out with new boats.
This is the new 427. A new concept and design change to the 3900V. Hull refinements, improvements and new features inlcude:
The same helm and dash configuration as the 4000 Roadster, center stand up seating with dual helms, large starboard side fender closet, longer sun lounge, larger stand up head, transom extension with built in storage locker and integrated swim platform.
This is the first sea trial but we're not quite finished with the interior so I'll post more photos when complete.

Sharp Terry!! VERY SHARP!

One question:
Is it remote controlled, or is that BobbyB driving it?

TxHawk 07-21-2009 03:15 PM

Wow. Best looking Vee you have.

BAJA WILL 07-21-2009 03:15 PM

Very Nice, nice to see a red boat, they seem to be getting more rare.

I have a question. Is this a new hull or the 39 hull with a 42.7 foot deck on it. I think you did the same thing with the new 40 foot cat I believe it is the 36 foot boat with a new deck on it.

Rick G.

salesmanship 07-21-2009 03:46 PM

Same basic hull with a few mods. The 39 was already 39'11"
So the add on makes it 42' 7".
The hull on the 4000 is one foot longer than the 3600 which was actually longer than 36' to begin with.

ktron 07-21-2009 04:11 PM

Very Nice! Can't wait to see how you guys layed out the dash and throttles!

very very nice....where does the exhaust exit on the starbord engine?

salesmanship 07-21-2009 06:10 PM

The exhuast is Mercury's version of our stealth system.
It's below the waterline just outside of the gimbal.

xconn92 07-21-2009 06:57 PM

Very cool....as usual from NT!!!:cool-smiley-027:

You guys just keep hitting it out of the park. And it's smart to redesign an existing hull rather than tooling a completely new hull and deck.

Starting at the rear there's a 6' long recessed sunlounge.
At the foot there is a trunk lid which holds the dive ladder, running light, dock lines etc.

That's the boat I'll have on display at Dog Days during the Shootout. We're coming prepared.

E Colby 07-22-2009 06:14 PM

The photo I shot of the GPS was too large to use on this website, but believe me when I tell you, the boat ran 104 mph and I ran it at 103 after only 5-10 minutes at the helm. Great handling. Read more in an upcoming issue of H2O Full Throttle magazine.

I'm a BIG FAN of this boat! Very sweet design. Yet another reason why I rock the Nor-Tech sticker on my truck. Another most excellent job, gentlemen! And T, thanks for sharing the pics with the rest of us.
