Default What are these temporary bimini tops called and where can I get one?

I've seen a couple pictures lately of go-fasts with what looks like a temporary bimini top. Basically a single upright with 4 tie downs to the stern and mid cleats.

What are these and where can I get one?

Thanks,

Kyle

They are called Anchorshade's. Search online, there are a ton of places to buy them. I have one, and it works pretty good.

I've got one. They can be had at West Marine. 1st one broke and West gave me a new one no questions asked.

Can not be used under way or in higher winds, but decent for the price.

Thanks guys. Are they quality, I wasn't expecting them to be made of plastic. I'll check out west marine this weekend, they are great with returns of defective/broken items.

The old ones were made of alluminum and did not have the vent in the top. The wind would get underneath and they would break. The new ones, like you said, are made of plastic but they have the vent in the top to let the wind pass through. That being said they do flex quit a bit and look like they would break but so far, for me atleast, mine has held up with no problems. I wish they had just added the vent and kept them alluminum but I guess plastics cheaper.

Have 2 Anchor shades and they are nice but as mentioned, cannot be used while underway as they will fold in half.
