Can buffing the hull hurt the gel coat ? Is there a clear coat? Its just a little chalky after getting all the brown watermarks oiff with hull cleaner. What about hand waxxing? Thanks

You can try just waxing. Buffing will not do any harm unless done wrong. If you've never done it have someone else do it or atleast show you how first.

Save yourself alot of time and elbow grease and get a random orbital polisher.
