Eliminator vs. Force Offshore
#1
Ok, I posted this in the wrong spot earlier. I am looking at buying my first cat. I have located an 04 27' Force Offshore, open bow, normally aspirated 650hp merlin wth about 50 hours and a 1999 Eliminator 28', open bow, with about 220 hours, and a fresh normally aspirated 650hp Teague. Comparably priced, comparably equipped. Any opinions as to which would be the best boat to buy and why.
Thanks

Not sure what your budget is. But I was in your same position last summer, looking for a used Eliminator. For not much more than I was going to spend on a used boat, I got a new boat with the colors I wanted. Miles is the OKC Eliminator dealer. He made me an awsome deal, & I'm sure he would do the same for you. Plus, I know he has a brand new, Keith Scroggins built, carbureted, naturally asperated 572 sitting on the floor right now. Trust me, it's priced to sell. Keith built two 572's for a fountain. The deal fell thru, so I bought one at a great price. The other one is still for sale. Call Miles 405-640-0200.
Good Luck,

If the 28 eliminator only has 1 motor go with the other boat. The 28 with one motor will not run that fast. If you put big HP in it to make it run you will be eating outdrives. There is a 28' in Austin that has been sitting on the lot for over a year with one motor in it.
