Great trip! Based on the number of "I'm in..." and maybe's, we thought we would have 4-6 boats. Eleven exceeded all expectations.
I wish we would have run harder, but our issue with the faulty oil pressure reading wasn't worth the risk (0-75 lbs) so we stayed at 4000 RPM where the oil pressure was steady. We did get to exercise the boat on the way back to Monroe. After more thought and an attitude adjustment at Frosty's, we were able to convince ourselves that the gauge/sender was wrong...
Let's do it again next year.

Thanks for putting the idea out there for us Sprague and of course all the beer and special drinks you bought at Frosty's.
It must have been the busiest day at the bay all year. That swim up bar did me and few others in.
Les your boat looked great and it sure looked good running. It was nice we all arrived without a problem. Sprague I am glad you took it easy, it's not often we get to ride side by side with you for more than a few seconds

oh no they are just saying on ABC that the southern part of Grosse Isle got hit hard by a storm that might have been a Tornado. They said some boats at Elba Mar got tossed. The Ford Yach club is at the tip of the island and the home of our Fall run, hope all is well. Twin Spins how are you doing out there?
