The one at Proroc, right? Saw it online, not in person. I sent them an e-mail a few weeks ago about it, never got an answer.

Bodyshot, I think the boat you are talking about is the 90/91 Scarab CV (composite Vee), and yes they are a very clean and well performing boat. I am kinda partial cuz I happen to own one But anyways, the boats were a Larry Smith designed hull. Most came with either the 365hp/454 or in 91 the 502. I just bought mine about a year ago and a I am very much impressed with it. After purchasing it I installed a 470 ci/in stroker good for about 620hp, the boat ran right around 80mph in good water. (1-2' chop) Soon after I spun a bearing and right now I am building a 496 stroker for it, and hoping to see around 85-86 with the new motor. You don't see too many of them, which makes it kinda neat. Boat really handles rough water much like a 28-30' does. BTW, If you have any pics of one send em to me pleeeeeze. I am beating my brains out trying to find a good pic to recreate the original Scarab CV stickers on the side of the boat. Some idiot took them off the side of my boat before I purchased it. Thanks- Scott

I also saw the Scarab 26 CV listed at Proroc. Asked them to send pictures and have yet to see them. It's been about 2 weeks. I wanted to know if the engine was mounted similar to a high performance set up( thru bolted) or was it typical Wellcraft. Personally I've seen to much stringer rot in Wellcrafts to pursue the boat any further. He also stated that it was not a Larry Smith Scarab.
No offense to you 26 CV owners. If you like them, so be it

I might be wrong, but I think I actually saw that boat, unless it was very similar, 2 years ago. It looked nice, if you like sit-down.
