What about Beam?

In lahman's terms..... A narrow beam should cut through the rough water better for the same reason a sharp knife cuts better than a dull one.

I'm mainly using it to commute to work. 26 miles each way on the hudson river with lots of big ferry wakes in the afternoon leg. Mornings are glassy most the time. Would like to cruise above 50 and not get upset too badly by confused water and wakes.

that is pretty awesome. Much more expensive than driving teh same distance, but we arent really in this sport to save money right.
