Checkmate vs. Formula. Looking at a 1995 Persuader and a Formula206LS. Persuader:454/Bravo1,Formula, 350mag./Alpha.Enough said???? Both are clean,but Checkmate wins out overall.Formula's gel coat is fair,with faded sides and bottom paint that is in poor showing.Test drove the Checkmate yesterday at the river and was VERY impressed.Any feedback,as i'm having the Persuader inspected this week. My money would be on the Checkmate. I just love those boats. Especially with a 454 and a Bravo. Is it in good shape? interior, hull, transom?
