If I were going to have a "fast" boat and money were no object, there is nothing that sounds better than nasty big cube motors at high RPM. I would have a spare set to keep on rotation.
The only other thing I could see needing 2000 hp in would be a big Magnum etc. and would prefer monster diesel's.

probably speaking out of turn here, but anyone ever heard of the Wally Boat ? Seems to be resaonably priced for what your get.... and money not being an issue

Good taste, without a canopy that would be the ultimate poker run boat....just can't imagine running 200mph in an open cockpit, not that i've run 200mph though. lol....someday hopefully.
