Default prop question

i have a set of 5 blade 17x26 herrings 22 degree rake and they work great. but when talking to the people at herring they recommended a 17x26/27 5 blade at 18 degree rake.

what does the rake effect? top end? accelaration?

thanks

The greater the rake, the greater the bow lift. Rake compbined with your drive heigth will ultimately determine top end and accelleration. Twenty-two degree rake is pretty extreme what boat are you running them on?
